Dear Finale,
You are an absolute life saver! Your powers know no bounds, in my opinion, for you helped me with a project in GarageBand. I like that when I put in a note, I get instant feedback on what it sounds like and how it fits into a piece. And I found this much easier than trying to play a whole piece five times (it had five parts, yikes!) on the computer keyboard by leaps and bounds. You are easy to pick up, and once someone gets the hang of it, they can import, write, and create music quickly, efficiently, and effectively. I think, no, I know, I will continue to use you and your many tools in the future for my musical and teaching needs.
A new fan,
Cameron MichaelJames Forman
I think you're certainly right about Finale being easier to write when there are complicated parts going on. One great thing is that when you have similar sections, you can copy and paste like you would with a document and even transpose it if you need to. There are quite a few things to learn though and it will take a bit of time to get the hang of it.
ReplyDeleteI have never used Finale, but it sounds like a great program. I would be curious to see the differences between Finale and Noteflight (the program I am more familiar with)
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with you, Cameron MichaelJames Forman. Finale is a fantastic tool to be able to you use when creating music. Especially once you have been using it for a while and start to really figure it out it becomes even more helpful.
